So, as we start the 2nd lockdown we understand how hard it can be mentally, and how you can start to feel less motivated, and even maybe a little negative about things. But why not use it as a positive?
One month, so why not make it one month to get yourself fit, in shape, but most of all…healthy.
We are going to be posting workouts for you everyday that you can easily follow, and we will ensure that you can do them without any equipment too in case you have none to use.
Remember, body weighted exercise is just as good.
WHERE TO START?
So now is a great time to workout your diet. Are you eating the right kinds of foods? Are you eating enough? Are you eating too much? It can all be a little daunting when you start off, but please be reassured it really isn’t that hard. One way is to count your calories.
We sometimes recommend our clients to use an app called my fitness pal. It’s really easy to use and can be a great way to ensure you are getting the correct amount of calories each day. It will ask you some basic questions to get set up, and then you are good to go.
REMEMBER Most experts say that you should not consume fewer than 1000 calories per day unless you are under the care of a physician!
When you start to calorie count, weather you are using an app or not, the key is to try and be as consistant as possible because an accurate number will you you to achieve the weight-loss/health you require much more successfully.
It is pretty much the same with your training, the key with everything is consistancy, and the great thing is, once you see that first achievement i,e, first couple of pound off etc, then you get your next round of motivation to carry on, and eventually, training, keeping fit and eating well just becomes a way of life that you actually enjoy.
